Two weeks ago I went to a birthday party with friends whom I had not hung out with in nearly 10 years. I thought it would be awkward but it wasn't at all and incredibly fun. Once the party was over, I was alone and nostalgic for the old days, and my heart broke all over again for a friend who died two years ago. I'll never stop missing her.
