Stoey time!
She's actually the little sister of the main character, Delfia, in her story concept. I am terribly biased in favor of "Baby," however haha. The concept of their species is that they are beings from whom humans have "devolved" from but are by no means celestial. Humankind has forgotten their true origin as their lifespans had decreased due to the harsh conditions on Earth, so generations have passed retaining only faulty fragments of the truth. When their kind had visited Earth, they were not recognized and misinterpreted an angels, fae, and any number of things. I have a painting titled "Wishing Ritual" in my gallery. Their species was treated brutally by the humans due to false beliefs, and so they no longer interact with humans. That is, they are not meant to anyways. Delfia breaks this rule and finds that she can adopt this "guardian angel" persona to help guide troubled humans she meets (primarily at raves, which intrigue her because dance is not a part of their species's culture) as she also learns from humanity things that her own culture can improve upon. This is also a deflection of her own troubles, for which "Baby" is a prime concern. Because Delfia is considered a lost cause by her monarchy parents, they've turned to "Baby" as their treaty bride, in essence, for a much needed alliance. (Keeping in mind "bride" may not mean exactly what it means in our human standard.) "Baby" does not mind this and just wants the love of her sister who keeps pushing "Baby" away due to her own guilt.
