Dun dun duuuun, fillies and gentlecolts, meet Twilight Sparkle The Inventor!But! She doesn't only invent fancy guns and stuff - she also likes to use them in practice, eg for extermianting clockwork Parasprites. Pretty useful.

I absolutely love this piece of art. I've been a fan of your steampunk ponies for a while, and this might possibly be my favourite.
First off, your art style is delightfully unique and a pleasure to look at. The combination of sketch-like lines and shading with full-bodied colouring and attention to minute details catches my eye and makes me fall in love with the entire form.
The way you drew Twilight is a way that I'm not entirely used to, but is far from a bad thing. She has a younger, more tomboyish look to her, which fits perfectly with what this piece is trying to convey.
I can tell you put a lot of work in to every aspect of this work, and it pays off. The concept of a parasprite gun is a work of genius, and her goggles and boots are just the perfect amount of leather and technology to be steampunk without flooding my vision with gears. The hat, as well, makes me smile.
Overall, this is currently one of my favorite pieces of art ever.

I'm not a fan of steampunk. It pushes my suspension of disbelief too far, but I does not mean I cannot still enjoy the fashions and gadgets of it. And combined with MLP? Yas!

Something tells me though that her assistant is constantly dirty or working in poor conditions given the Victorian-Industrial era.

This is gunna sound silly if you have and I just missed it, but are you going to make a wallpaper for the Mane Six Steampunk ponies? Mostly I wonder about Twilight here cause I simply love her and want her as my wallpaper ^ ^;.

Do you know, that I just realized that out of M6 only RD has been made into wallpepr? Funny thing.
Weeell, all the M6 pieces are rather old, and now, when I look at them I see all those mistakes I've made. I simply can't stand the thought than someone could actually have them on their screen!

I LOVE THIS. I love the style of steampunk, I love Twilight Sparkle, and I love how you made her look tough even while wearing those inventor goggles by having her shot down a robot parasprite with her invention. This and all of your other steampunk ponies (well, the steampunk Mane 6) are on my favorites. Wonderful job!
