I'm tired almost every day when I leave from work and I'm sitting about one hour in the bus, but even I'm not as tired as he is

there is a sense of humor on this photo but if you think about it it is rather sad.. specially when i was there and i saw people watching him i really felt bad for him

Did this happen often in Athens? He can't have been worried about being mugged or assaulted or whatever; however exhausted I feel I'd want to make sure I was in a place of safety before I flake out. Having said that, the way he's got his leg rested I'm guessing he was feeling comfortable and relaxed before nodding off.
I like this shot though, Natty. It's got some real character to it and depending on your viewers' perceptions of the guy's predicament, it's either worrying or amusing. I'd go with amusing.

this is a great piece. you've captured the moment really well, specially with that little detail. looking at it closely, in my view, if he didn't have that sandwich in his hand, it could of been portrayed that he was on drugs
or just bored of sitting there for a long time, but on this photo it shows that he was having his lunch or snack, and he's so tired that he just fell asleep eating it. that's happened to me at home lol. i would never live it down if that happened to me in the streets. poor guy. i'm sure he had a good night's sleep when he got home. you did very well with this!

not to fall asleep in public no, i've fallen asleep in busses, trains and friend's couches, but not on the streets like that. poor guy, hope he didnt get his stuff stolen like his money and stuff.

It's these sort of pictures that allow people to remember that not everything is as easy as it seems. Even eating bescomes a chore in this one. I really like it. You have a way with symbolizm in your pictures! I can't wait to see more!
