I've been doing a lot of experimenting with resin during the past few weeks, and I think this is my favorite piece so far! I cast this out of a candy mold (which I'm surprised actually worked!). If you're not careful, and if the plastic is too thin, the resin will melt right through the mold, thus causing a gross, icky mess.

After the resin set, I popped the star out, and covered it up with Swarovski Crystal AB flatback rhinestones. It is SO sparkly holy coooow I adoooore it. I sprinkled some glitter into the resin before it set up too, so the entire star piece has sparkles going through it! ^____________^
