Description Ok so, taking photos of rodents in a building with no lighting equipment = not an easy day of photography. However, I did come up with this

This is a ferret up for adoption at my local animal shelter

Just to let you know, ferrets are NOT rodents. Cute picture though.

they are in the general rodent room, which has rabbits too which aren't rodents, but I was referring to the room And the fact that I was taking photos of tons of rodents, wasn't referring to the ferret as such. was worded a little strange, but you didn't really need to use caps ^^ Thanks though.

Oh, okay. My apologies. I was just going around correcting people because it really bothers me when people think ferrets are rodents.

It's no problem ^^ I am curious why it bothers you so much though, considering rodents are very wonderful And sorry about the caps thing, it just feels like yelling or scolding or something. I certainly don't mind being informed, would just be nicer if it wasn't done with caps like that

I love rodents, don't get me wrong. I want a pet rat at some point in my life.
It just bothers me that people would get a pet and not do enough research to know what they really are. It shows some ignorance on the part of the owner, in my opinion, and it makes me wonder what else they don't know about the animal, such as how to take care of it properly and such.

Ah, well, the ferret isn't mine, lol (was at the shelter, has been adopted now). I do want one some time and have done a ton of research and still want to do more before I do get one, and the amount I've done now tells me I'm not ready/don't have the time for one at the moment. I have three rescue rats They are wonderful.

But I see where you're coming from. I would tease my bunny and call him a rodent all the time, so not sure it always means that either.

Certainly not meaning to argue, and I'm not. I think it's an interesting topic to say the least, would be interesting on a debate board somewhere xD Thank you for explaining to me though It's nice to be on the same level.
