Description Thankfully one of the owner's friends decided to take him, so he has a home and he is doing well there This experience has been a little stressful, but I have learned a few things from it including how difficult it is to deal with shelters when a dog really needs help. Wish I didn't learn that side of things in a way, but in another way I'm glad I did.

It's nice to see a good ending for poor Beau though, I know he was getting tired of being stuck in the house all by himself all the time. I will miss pet sitting him and seeing him, but at least he has a good home for the rest of his life <3

My neighbor dog is looking for a home! His owner passed away so he is now without a home. He is dog aggressive, so I cannot take him. Because of this the no kill shelter will not take him either. However, he is a great dog aside from that, so someone looking to only own one dog would be great for him. He is older, I’d guess around 9 years old.

He loves his kong and is good and will “drop it” when you ask to play fetch. Currently he stays in his yard without a fence, though I am unsure how he would be with moving. He is not very energetic so he would be easy to just let out to play fetch with a couple of times a day.

He is not my dog, I only pet sit for him, so I do not know how he is around kids; I know he adjusted to me and my brother visiting very quickly and we never had issues with him, but we are adults.

Please contact me for any further questions or if you are interested in him. He is in PA, though we may be able to work something out to get him somewhere else in the US.

Poor old boy, he sounds sweet. Sadly, he won't fit in here, we already have a dog, but I really hope you find someone who can take him. Have you tried contacting breed rescue groups? I know there are groups that specialize in 'bully breeds' in particular, because they are very hard to rehome and get a bad rap in shelters.

If you live on the east coast, try contacting villa Lobos. they are a very well known and highly reccomended bully rescue...

One of the owner's friends said he looked into them and the one around here just networks the dogs but doesn't give them a home to stay in or any place to stay in while they are looking for a permanent home. I'll be looking into them more, though, to see if I can find any anywhere in the state.
Thank you for your concern. I would love to take him myself but I already have two dogs and they already don't get along with him.

It's too bad they're not able to give him a temporary home while they look for a new forever home for him.

It's so wonderful of you to put the word out on deviantart, and I really hope someone can give this boy the new home he deserves

I have been doing alot of research on places in the area and may have found him a place to go to if we cannot find him a home soon. It's a no kill that is on a lot of property and has indoor/outdoor access for all the dogs as well as, as it appears, a good community of volunteers. He could live his life out there, or get adopted. I'd rather him get a home so I know he has people with him all the time, but at least in that place, if he stays there, I can go visit him ^^ It doesn't appear that they are going to say no due to dog aggression, either, so hopefully if nothing else they end up being a good place for him.

Since you were asking about him I figured you'd like to know he found a home! One of the owner's friends finally took him, and he's doing well in the new home <3
