The 7th in the series, which features the lovely cat, "Sweetpea", who belongs to DAerHere is Sweetpea, wearing some very ornate gold, mother of pearl and ruby jewelry!

If anyone would like to volunteer their kitty cat to be a model in the series, simply comment here, and attach a link, or send me a note here on DA with a link. I will add it to a list of cats I will seriously consider, and any cat is a good candidate(even one-eyed and blind kitties, or those with a missing paw. All kitties are special and wonderful).
Clear, closeups(or larger, full-sized images) of the potential cat models is a must to be selected, and if I select your cat, I will send you a free print of the artwork. How about that!

And I know exactly what you mean-most cats don't want anything to do with stuff around their neck like that, or hats, clothes, etc.
My husband retold me an article he read about why placing hats for long periods on pets, as well as bulky clothes was tough on them. It turns out, hats on the head mess with an animal's equlibrium, and throws off their natural sense of balance. However, I don't see anything wrong with putting a hat on a cat, if it's for a quick photo, or they simply don't care. Because, there are always strange and wonderful cats who simply could care less.
