Two of my newest designs, using prisms!

I had seen some other jewelry artists use these, and thought I'd add my special take on them too.

The Vampiress Killer
This necklace has two laters of antique brass filigree at the top of the prism, which has been given a little hand tinting. This part symbolizes the vampire hunter's stake. Then, beside the prism pendant, at it's top, are a translucent leaf, garnet drop and matching brass crucifix-an essential component to any monster hunter's kit.
A single, handmade clay rose bead in burgundy, separates the pendant from it's chain.

The Dream of the Mermaid
A delightful blend of cool ocean water tones, and the sun sparkling on the edge of it's surface. Aurora Borealis coated glass and acrylic leaves and flowers, surround a silverplate, filigree topped AB coated acrylic prism. Atop that, I set an amethyst stone cabochon.
The dangling components are suspended by a curved silver connector, which connects to a silver chain.
Some of the plating has been hand tinted with a shimmery periwinkle color, to give it that cool, refreshing feel.
