Interesting. It also looks like a face in profile in the left background - the curve of the wire around the eye. (Also, there's no "rule" for softness or sharpness.). The more I look at this, the more it appeals to me.

yay, some black and white stuff
very beautiful composition. love the softness in it and the stress that the tendril adds. Its somehow quiet and calm but not boring at all.
