My cat stunned this mouse so her kittens could learn to kill it, I suppose. I saw it and felt really bad so I tried to pick up the mouse with my bare hands like an idiot. It BIT me! ...like the rabbit in Monty Python, I swear it straight jumped up and chomped down on my finger. I freaked and flung it off. Luckily, it didn't have a chance to break the skin so I am not going to get rabies or anything, I guess. I was pretty pissed at the stupid thing but then I got a lid and moved him into the bushes and he scurried away.

Aw, that is such a cute vole! Mice have sharper noses, more prominent ears, and much larger tails.

not in the wild there isnt. tell me, if cats were in the wild what would they eat? and dont say the cats should just starve themselves.besides humans the same. we eat chicken. are we all bullies? us humans kill for fun. cats only kill if they need to eat or if they need to feed there kittens. and there are plenty of mice, actually there are more mice than cats, so they're not a minority. even mice kill when it is necesary. though they usually eat things that are already dead, sorta like vultures, they do love to eat insects especially grasshoppers. are you gonna start defending the grasshopper now? okay look i dont like the idea of killing either but animals need to eat. i know cats now are not living in the wild but it's still in their instincts. in the wild, if the mother cat didnt teach her children to hunt they would die.

Haha. When my cat had kittens she did the same thing.... Except one of the kittens picked to mouse up, brought it inside, and dropped it.
