This is stunning! What part of the park is this? I'm living here right now! I work in Grant Village.

Wow this is stunning, the light and the mist work wonderfully to make the bison appear to be something from a myth. Wonderful capture.

How sad that these magnificent creatures have been brought so low by the ignorance of humans...this is an extraordinary image Nate, as I am sure you are aware! I love it...I really do gotta come out there and see all this stuff first hand.

I don't even know how to properly comment on something this extraordinary. I love bison and it was amazing seeing them at Yellowstone. But I never saw them against such a mindblowing backdrop. As powerful as it must feel to stand among them, I love the serenity the lighting gives here. Love the slight "sparkle" at the tips of the long grass. Outstanding work. Makes me want to go out West again!

"Unbelievably, they are still being harassed and slaughtered over unfounded beliefs that they will spread disease to commercial animals."
Oi, don't I know that! As a member of Defenders of Wildlife, there were plenty of newsletters mailed to me about how people wanted to kill these poor animals because of disease with no proof. I wish those people could see these photos and realize what a stupid idea it is to kill these beautiful animals :C
