As for the flowers, they are actually a metaphor for himself -beautiful, healthy flowers in a dull, earthen pot. Check the book!

Beautifully done my friend, it's good to see an original concept of Quasimodo for a change, instead of seeing the disney character 24-7. Great concept & mood, as well as detail & colour (I've drawn 2 concepts of Quasimodo myself, check them out if you like). Awesome artwork!
