This pairing lured me into Yaoi and into Hetalia and its odd that I don't draw much of them. I really like a lot of pairings and I just skip from one pairing to the next.

I am glad to know that! A lot of people who like USUK don't like FRUK or those who like Spamano don't like Germano or Itacest but I find all the characters lovable on their own and I want to pair them up with other characters I adore.

Well if we talk about equality, they can always agree on terms. Like Alfred will be uke on MWF, Arthur can be uke on TThSa and Sunday is just snuggle time.
I agree on the whole real equality in a homosexual relationship. I think I liked Yaoi is because there is no threat for one party to get pregnant. The relationship is fruitless so to say but it exists solely for the love. That makes it kinda sweet and yet bitter at the same time.
