I've always liked Mystique's design from X-Men. The color scheme just works really well and blue is actually my favorite color. Not sure where I got the inspiration for this but I think it came out great. For a quick story, A brilliant female scientist was enamored with the mutant Mystique was able to obtain a sample of her DNA. With that sample she was able to engineer a serum that only has an effect on woman. It has no effect on men at all. When injected into a female body it alters the DNA of that person. It imbues their cells with super regeneration that essential stops them from aging after a certain point in their life roughly around the age of 25. As a side affect the person injected undergoes physical changes as well. Their skin turns blue, hair red, eyes yellow, and somehow their clothes change to a pure white. They gain Mystique's colors. The scientist also adjusted the serum so that the injected wouldn't receive Mystique's power of transformation. She believed that was an ability on she should have. Also the serum would only allow the woman injected to only give birth to female children. Those born would retain the serums effects.

This scientist's goal is to create a new evolution of mankind. A near immortal race of female mutants, a new race of beings. "A new race now walks eternally upon this world. We are the Mystique."
She aimed to inject the strongest and most beautiful woman of the world into her Mystique race.

So then comes the part where she mass produces her regeneration serum and revolutionizes the field of medicine and longevity enhancement for the benefit of everyone...right?

Has it ever struck you as weird how often comic book characters seem to overlook possibilities like this?
