I can never see them as a pairing for some reason, unless its AU, I can only see them as a mother/son or older sibling / younger sibling thing.

I see them as a mother/son type of couple, Hope is just... too short haha it doesnt work
I just see it as, Hope had no where to go at the end, and he cant do much at 14 on his own so Light adopted him and helps him get on etc.
