Holy Sassanach! This is fantastic! I'm totally smitten with Sam Heughan's Jamie Fraser on "Outlander" at the moment...and you totally captured him! (Pun intended!)
I'm currently in the middle of the 1st book too, and am a newbie to the series. I just recentlyΒ read the part where Jamie revealed to Claire that (SPOILER ALERT FOR NON-BOOK FANS!!!) Black Jack Randall basically propositioned Jamie during his capture at Fort William at 18 - so I immediately thought that this picture you did would totally be up BJ Randall's alley (Haha!)
Kudos again on the magnificent, beautiful work! I wish I were as good as you - teach me how to use water color pencils! Seriously, I wanna learn how to get that water-color effect without actually using traditional water-color paints (cuz I basically suck at using them - I always ruin my work with too little or too much water at some point... Grrr....)!

practicaly i don't use water at all !! I love them because they are soft and i can blend them perfectly with pastels
