kinda looks so futuristic
I often wonder what might have been had they had the tech of today back then...
they were I think the first or one of the first to experiment with 4 track recorders back then
Now easily done on your home computer & much more...could you image the fab 4
dragging laptops around what might have been created...the mind boggles

BTW I meant to ask you is there 2 different Beatles shows in  Las Vegas or only the one ?
friend of mine asked the other Day

This was the Hallway that leads to the Beatles LOVE Theatre, and that's the Beatles LOVE Boutique on the right.
It was breathtaking.  They were playing Beatles music, and people were singing and taking pictures...it was wonderful
We were staying in the Mirage...I took this during a rare quiet moment

I love how George said they had to resort to recording tricks for effects...just brilliant.
Part of Motion Design (which is my major) includes sound mixing and editing...I can't wait

As far as I know, The Beatles LOVE Cirque Du Soleil at the Mirage Hotel is the only Beatles show.
It's at least the most celebrated Beatles Show in Las Vegas...It was beyond amazing.
I want to see it again...and again...and again.

Hi Nattie

I see... it looks like a great entrance way

Actually yeah they did some really experimental effects too ...
one was to take old pipe or recoding and chop them up and slice them back together
and run them backwards I believe...The  later Sixties was really about pushing boundaries
in so many ways...
Sound mixing you will have real fun with that and againb the 60's, 70's was very experimental
with that...a lot I guess was for Hallucinogenic aspects but a lot to just because people want to
see what they could create with the technology

You may want to do a little research on Tangerine Dream....en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tangerin…
The early stuff falls very much in the late sixties...but I suppose its worth looking at the evolution of the Dream
thought done much later you'll know this one  Link
(you will find some of their stuff quite relaxing)

Dr Who also has a claim to fame with the theme being a Moog Synthesizer... Link
also here is when stereo found its feet
Then quadraphonics in the 70's....en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quadraph… .
the Deep Purple Machine head album I think explored that
Also Pink Floyd did a quadraphonic gig in 1976...en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Games_fo…

Anyway my sweet child out of time maybe a fresh set of eyes on the 60's & 70's you will find new perspectives
from what was created and done then...

on the The Beatles LOVE Cirque Du Soleil Thank you Dear so very much I'll pass that on to her and let her know
you know they did the Rocky horror show and thats exactly what people did, go and see it night after night
and to this day that show has a great following originally in the 60's no one knew how to take it
but when re launched in the 70's it was a smash hit...not bad for a down and out Trannie who wrote it
of course in those days anything on those line was way taboo and still is with a lot these days

I wish my hearing was better to truly appreciate what your going to do Nattie with sound
your in a field I loved music and sound
Thank you Dear

sorry for the late reply ...again so behind on DA to clear some now
