This is my half of the trade withShe said I could draw any of her characters. So i decided to draw her fursona, Tatchit. ^v^

I really try hard to get peoples Fursona's right. There has been so many times people have messed up Natsume's markings, I don't mind, but I know how important it is to get the fur design just right ^^.
Oh I have a question. What do you use to color your images? And is your fursona a maned wolf?

If I do traditional, I normally use ball point pen-the brands Papermate, Bic, Fin pointsβ¦P.S.V.P. or something around that name-all these things you can buy at Wallmart or even a dollar store-but Wallmart usually has better stuff-I donβt really buy a bunch of huge name branch, expensive supplies-except with watercolors (Reeves), and my artist pens (Pittβ¦.or Pitte???), which I use for those thick line art-and it makes it easy to color in Photoshop because you already have a line art done.
With yours, for the background-I used eyeshadow. (It's a LOT smoother than coloring pencil, but can get mighty messy if you're not careful)
(and ditto with the markings-I too HATE it when I see people who have drawn someone's character, but didn't take the time to at least look at the owner's char to see if they did everything right)
I decided my fursona would be a wolf/fox/coyote mix...I'm not sure. (I probably have that info somewhere in my gallery...I even forget my own info because I have so many characters)

I also hope to use..."cough" learn Photoshop and or Illustrator . I as of now only use pen's, and crayola colored pencils lol

You're kinda right, my proportions are all swaggered around and deformed.
She could be a maned wolf, part anyways. :3
(and prisma colors are VERY EXPENSIVE. So I do the smart thing and use the school's instead of buying them, at two dollars a marker, I think I could go buy...something else, a house maybe with the price of those things)
