Description
This was my half of the trade withShe asked me to draw her character Raisu with snow
around him. Raisu is from her Ginga fan comic called
Arashi Touketsu Raisu. You should check it out, its
a really awesome comic ^v^.
Hope you like !
This took about 2 hours, background done in paint and
Raisu colored in colored pencils.

Lol yeah it does, it's a pain coloring an ENTIRE pic with colored pencils! Thats why I've been using pastels or markers lately hehe.

eeeeeieiee ^v^ IM so happy you liked it. I really wanted to put in my best effort for this picture for you. Im not good with the style he is usually in so that is why i went with the realistic style, and also that is how I draw lol. But It took me a while to get him to look like this. In my mind I had him facing forward and looking up... but I could not get that right XP.
But I had so much fun drawing him ^^. The background is in paint b/c i was tired of how my colored pencil bg's looked. And the reason why it was so quick is b/c when i get on a roll there is no stopping me lol

i can honestly say that i do mean it <3 your my idol at drawing wolves, and semi realistic people that just look so cool. i think its great that you draw in colored pencil and not photoshop and such. most people nowadays dont use traditional art as much as they used to. its really a shame ): i do both digital and traditional, i think its a nice balance.

I don't use photoshop b/c im too poor to afford it XD lol. But I am content with using colored pencils. It relaxes me when i color and stuff.

im too poor to get it either. i think traditional is definantly more satisfying and calming than computers. so much stuff could go wrong and then you loose stuff. too much work XD
