Well....the conclusion they got from the movie was quite......trippy.....in my opinion.... Hinata was at her best when she was fighting alongside Neji in the war she was so determined. And I wished for her to lead the clan one day.

I hope you keep uploading your work on deviantart until its end. Seriously, this fanfiction comic you have been drawing and writing for years, is just...beautiful. It's with no doubt the best naruto's fanfiction i've ever seen, at least for me, and I've read a lot of them, believe me. Naruto's fanworld apart, your job is amazing, and I have no doubt about that this work is perfectly enjoyable for any reader, even without the background of Kishimoto's original story.
I know you are terribly dissapointed with the unsatisfactory final of the original manga, just like many of us, but I beg you: close this serie, for me, for all your readers, for all narusaku, leeten and specially nejihina lovers who enjoy every one of your pages, and who can't avoid smile a little whenever we see a new deviation written and drawn by natsumi33.

The Hyuuga filler wasn't so bad actually, I was surprised.....and it made sense.... But it made me sad that the filler only proved that without Naruto, Hinata's character doesn't have much significance. It also prooved how NEji cared deeply for her....and now I'm sad.

I don't know what went wrong with Kishimoto's way of thinking.....how could he forget about this clan? Also....forgetting to give the byakugan to Naruto's and Hinata's children....O__o;;;;;; ....so he has to make another child for them with Byakugan.....Talk about neglected characters.

MajorasMasks In reply to natsumi33 [2015-04-30 15:31:17 +0000 UTC]

I saw that you uploaded new pages, but before reading them I would like to comment here again.  ^^

What if he didn't really forget to give them Byakugan, but it will activate someway during the new manga about Boruto and Salada? It would still be strange though, since the Byakugan doesn't work as the Sharingan...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

natsumi33 In reply to MajorasMasks [2015-05-21 11:44:56 +0000 UTC]

I think that it was official from Kishimoto that he "forgot" the byakugans (and gave them whiskers....) so he is considering creating a third child (although if he rather followed your trail of thoughts he could easily create a plot-device without much ruckus and "activate" the byakugans later.)

But I have no proof of any kind about Kishimoto's words toward the NH kids, I didn't check for interviews (since they always seemed to make more damage than good to me anyway).

natsumi33 In reply to MajorasMasks [2015-07-13 17:22:06 +0000 UTC]

Zeah, I read them :'D I must say....I never thought I would like Sarada, but I do. I cared about her since chap 1 and I must admit, in all honesty, that Iwas happy seeing her happy. She makes a lot better lead than Boruto ever could, since he's too similar to Naruto. Sarada was a refreshing fem lead And Sakura kicked ass. I am still unhappy though how she got treated in the end - with Sasuke not being able to be affectionate with his own wife D: after 12 damn years? And he's off to goodbyeland for another 12..... ?? I also don't like how Sasuke is always forgiven so easy...no matter how bad he screws up, its always the others who have to hold it in and forgive him. I don't think Japan should teach kids that it's totally fine when their parents are gone and don't care - what memories will they have once they grow up? And the whole Karin-Sarada subplot.......sigh.... I seriously....expected that Karin truly might be her mother....and that the point of the whole story will be that a family doesn't have to be blood-related to be an actual family. So this was a huge dissapointment for me, too.... another so called red-herring....why.

I like Sarada too, but not the gaiden overall. But I've given up at this point...

At least, I'm having a great time with One Piece (if you still have to read it be careful, my profile and gallery are full of spoilers, even recent, at this point    ).

T_T welp....I do like some of the ideals Kishimoto tried to spread.....but he also spread so many wrong ones that it almost gave me a headache. I'll wait for the Burrito movie to come out....and hopefully I come to like that guy so I can part ways with this series in a nicer way.

I still haven't started OP because everyone arround me is pushing me into it :'DDD so now I am absolutely sure that it is he best series ever I am too afraid to become obsessed over it. I went on a HunterxHunter spree recently and I AM COMPLETELY IN ITS SPELL. Since it kind of reminds me of OP in some aspects I really am afraid what OP might do to me once I get into it as I did with HxH.
My friend loves to spoil stuff for me :'DDD so now I know who will die.... and who the bad guys are and what horrible things happened. Sigh.

Hunter x Hunter is great too, too bad Togashi takes so many hiatuses...

Start OP and you won't regret it; don't worry about the spoilers too much either, at this point, since it's a great read anyway.

natsumi33 In reply to MajorasMasks [2015-08-01 12:37:13 +0000 UTC]

The hiatuses are such a shame I feel very sorry for his personal/health problems....yet.... well.... I wish he could close up that one last arc at least about the Dark continent... and bring Gon and Killua back together TAT

I think I need to cool down as a person first, to be able to start OP without getting too much emotional damage/unhealthy attachment :'DDDD I get attached way too much, end up making doujinshi all day long, diving into depths of the internet for all information about the matter..... I made this "mistake" with Naruto and Portal already...so I really need to get a firm grip of my time/life and health before starting such an epos as OnePiece :'DD I feel that I really need to calm down! But seeing how you keep reminding me, it truly must be special. THE WHOLE SHOW SCREAMS SPECIAL.

You won't ever manage not to get obsessed by One Piece, though.

I don't read the HxH manga, so I don't know what happens past the point Gon is with his father on the tallest tree of the world (please don't spoil me    ). I did watch both the animated series, though, and loved them both.  ^^
Anyway, I'm not sure Togashi really has health problems... Maybe, he's just tired making manga.

natsumi33 In reply to MajorasMasks [2015-08-03 11:36:54 +0000 UTC]

X'DDD THAT IS MY BIGGEST FEAR TBH!!! I even like the characters while I don't even know much of their backstories.... there's this soft spot for stories in which group of characters make the nakama packt... I am into it ;D

I just flicked through the chapters to see how some parts were handled..... At times I felt as if Togashi just wanted to get over with it...For instance, the final Gon/Killua parting felt like it's no big deal to them.... because he used such small concentrated panels for the scene. The anime handled it fantastically with the music, camera angles, lighting and pace.... So if you felt that Gon's attachment to KAito isn't well done in the anime, then the manga would probably dissapoint you even more in these aspects. But I guess it's mostly because Togashi couldn't handle the weekly updates and had to cut the number of pages in half to be able to contribute (but you know.... to me, at least, Kaito was such an awesome character that even I have gotten attached badly, even with the low number of appearances. The voiceactor did a great job too.... ).

I won't spoil you things but I can spoil you at least one thing - the story is heading toward the space outside the Hunter-verse....toward something called The Dark Continent, where all the magical beasts and the chimera ants came from. There's not much to know yet, since there are only a few chapters of it out.

There was a rumor about Togashi having rather psychological than physical problems - it's sad that he cannot go public on this Maybe the fans would be able to support him and spark something inside of him, if they knew what the problem was.

MajorasMasks In reply to natsumi33 [2015-08-03 18:44:20 +0000 UTC]

What are still waiting, then? Better to get obsessed over a really good thing (a potential masterpiece, imho), than not reading it at all!
Really, I can't wait to talk about OP with you.  ^^

I really like Kite's voice actor too, but I'm used to OP characters and their relationship, so HxH felt a kind weak in that department... But even if we want to use just examples from the latter, I could expect a reaction like that if Killua was killed instead, but that's just my opinion.
And maybe it's just as you said, that Togashi couldn't handle the weekly deadlines and cut content (that's not something I justify, but as I said before he's such a skilled writer that what he makes is still compelling--HxH is one of the best shounen out there, after all).

I see... Well, the Dark Continent sure sounds interesting.
Yeah, psychological problems seem more likely, but it's better not to believe to rumours, especially for such things. So, I'll keep believing that he's too busy playing Dragon Quest games!  XD  (Jokes aside, I really hope he has no serious condition of any kind.    )

TT____TT If I find some balance in my trashy life, then I'll make sure to fill it with Onepiece goodness
(I'd LOVE to talk about OP with u tho... feel free to talk to me about it whenever you like, even if I didn't see much of it yet).

Whenever I hear people talking about OP or telling me how awesome it is, I always tell them about you and a few more friends XDD That you already set the spark in me a long time ago but I just can't bring my self to start it out of said reasons.... HxH got me completely sucked into it while it's still inferior to OP in a way (especially with the quality of art and length of story) - so I am sure I would get addicted to a point where I'd regret it.

I am also a bit bitter toward it because my nephew keeps insulting HxH in all the wors possible manners, showing OP into my face as the perfect thing HxH will never be. I am seriously mad to the point where I told him I won't ever watch OP XDDD (of course that's not true but I felt like punishing him with this). People around who watch OP really just keep insulting HxH.... I don't know why they can't view it as another story....it's as if something is nearly as good as something else but isn't quite there is being treated far worse than things completely out of league in a negative way. My nephew actually gave KissxSis a 8/10 rating, while ditching the CHimera ant arc and giving HxH 5/5...calling it "COMPLETELY WRONG" :'DDD ..... I guess this bitterness wont'go away, he's my blood afterall!

Btw Oda seems to be brimming with energy Togashi just doesn't have.... If I was Togashi, I probably would fall into depression (I think he already mentioned in an interview that he knows how inferior he is to the other artists....he lost hope that his art could ever be as good so he tries to at least write good stories. I am the same....my art just won't ever be that compelling or original, so I try to balance it out with the story.... but it takes much energy from me - it sparks and burns brightly so I'm able to work for days straight on something, doing 15 pages in two days for instance....but when I finish, the light goes out and then I'm not able to do the thing for months... I guess I have the same diagnosis as Togashi...and I don't even play Dragon Quest XD).

Togashi has some serious back-problems they keep telling the crowds. I don't know if it's true or not... If he were to be a gambler, that would be far worse than the back problems imo

MajorasMasks In reply to natsumi33 [2015-09-01 14:28:55 +0000 UTC]

I can understand if some young people don't like HxH, since it's a fairly mature series, but I'm sorry that there are some OP fans who insult it. In some regards (the Nen system, some really original twists and themes of the plot, and others), Togashi's manga is even better than OP, so it doesn't even make sense.
And they are completely different stories with different moods, so why comparing them to begin with?

Oda is a special case; you don't see many other mangaka like him, both now and in the past. However, Togashi is really good too (I consider him a genius, storytelling-wise), and I hope he didn't get depressed. People shouldn't forget that he made another good shounen manga before Hunter x Hunter, so he really deserves respect and consideration even if he has problems finishing the latter.
I just hope he just have not too serious back problems, because if he had psychological ones or some kind of addiction it would be worse, as you said. At any case, he deserves respect.

When you'll be ready to read OP I'll be really happy to talk about it with you. Just remember that the manga is much, much better than the anime, especially for the very first episode (which was censured), the central part of the story (which in the anime was censured again), and the latest few arcs (the anime started having worse artworks and horrible pacing, lately).

And don't feel bad about your art; not only it's good, but you also are one of the very few people I know--Japanese aside (I don't know how they do that)--who is able to complete long manga.

There isn't anything wrong with being a housewife and mother, as long as you're happy and Hinata is happy it seems.  There's also nothing wrong with taking a bolder role and being a leader....as long as it makes you happy and you do the right thing.

Being the support to a man in charge, being the shoulder he cries on because he has no one else, being his queen, it's more taxing than you think because you have to have a strength that only a woman or man in that position can handle.  On top of that she and Naruto had two kids, being a mother is NO easy task and to make light of it is an ignorant view...assuming they're a good mother to begin with and not a lazy and neglectful one (which obviously Hinata's nature makes her a great mother).

Hinata is a strong woman.  She may have had the greatest potential to be a wonderful leader, but so do many people in this world...and it just isn't the life they want.  Just because she chose her path as a housewife and mother doesn't make her any weaker than she would've been had she chosen to be the leader of the Hyuuga clan.  Strength isn't in status or how much you do, it's in character and what you do, period.  She's Naruto's wife, she's his support system, she's a mother, and she's even a war veteran...but most of all (in an introspective aspect) she conquered her fears and got over her shyness when it mattered the most, she became a stronger person.  You may not like how the canon manga ended up and who ended up with who and what they ended up doing and I respect and understand your preferences, but to suggest Hinata is weak or a disappointing character just because she presents herself differently and chose a life that made her happiest simply isn't right.

To be fair with your opinion though, none of the female characters in the manga really got a fair chance at proper development.  They were put second to the men, they weren't even made equal.  Even Tsunade and Sakura couldn't hold a candle to Jiraiya and Orochimaru or Naruto and Sasuke, and that was a huge disappointment.  Hinata at least learned and mastered her clan techniques (Sakura just seemed to stop learning new jutsu and all I really see her do in battle is the basics she learned as a girl and the kicking and punching...even Naruto learned more as he got older, even though she's supposed to be a genius which also was rarely highlighted) but she was no where near Neji's level, and that is what I find disappointing in the female characters.  They weren't given the same chance the men were or even hinted at having that same potential.

That's my two cents, anyway.  I didn't mean to offend anyone nor can I force or demand anyone to change their minds and opinions...I can only hope to at least get them to reconsider their assessment.  Even if they still stick with their opinion, if I can get them to have a less harsh view of the other side then I'm content with that~ I do greatly enjoy this story and seeing an alternate story line with Hinata as a leader (and a well told one at that) is simply awesome, I just wanted to make a point.  I also DON'T agree with that German board's comments; it's a desirable life for some but not all (it depends on the person after all~), and the whole "you still get lots of money from the guy" thing is just as ignorant and as Flammendo said, "A totally worldly innocent point of view".

I also admit I'm slightly biased because I'm currently a housewife and pregnant with my first successful child (I always wanted to be a housewife, but I DID work for a time until we found out the stress of my job on top of my reproductive issues kept causing me to miscarry).  We've been trying for a child for a long time, it's taken a lot to get where to we are, a lot of heart ache and money and much needed support from each other as well as my family...but it's a life that I'm finally having and it makes me the happiest I've been since our wedding day.  It took a lot of strength to carry on after each failure, I almost thought I'd never have children...thought I doubt Hinata had such an issue with Naruto haha~
So yes, I'm biased lol and I fully respect your opinions if they differ~  Sorry if I came off as hounding you or anything, as well as for my mini novel of a reply (I'm notorious for that...), I just have a thing where I want to explain my thoughts as thoroughly as possible since people tend to misunderstand me otherwise (and I still fail at that at times and I end up upsetting or frustrating people even though I didn't mean to...).

Thank you for sharing your story with us and just to make things clear - it's not that people are mad because the kunnoichi became housewives per se! You see, all the women had their big dreams aside form their goals in romace....and in the end 700 made it seem like they didn't accomplish anything else besides romance. We all know that off-panel they might be doing their jobs and stuff, but after 15 years I really was more curious about how Ino is working in interriogation, how Sakura is doing with her medic skills and whether or not Hinata is leading the clan/or at least, how things changed for the Hyuuga. Sakura is a prime example of how wasted the pages have been in 700 - not only we did not get a proper closure on Team 7, we also have seen that Sakura jumped back to her old self again, not having self-worth.... and in the end, I wished to see her being useful with her talents. Those were the VEY LAST pages of the manga, where Sakura and anyone else had the CHANCE to display what they have become......and in stead of answering all these questions we had, we get only to see how the women gave birth and are at home.
Don't get me wrong here though - giving birth is a priviledge that only women have and it's the greatest gift to humanity!! But if we'd look at this story-wise and character-wise - looking at this as a fictional story we followed for 15 years/12 years.... the characters deserved a more colorful closing panels. For instance, Temari and Shikamaru never seemed to like marriage, it would've been perfectly in character for them to have an open relationship without children. It's not like every woman HAS to give birth, right? Some are ready for it, some are not. Some want partners, some don't.... The ending seemed really out of character for most of the characters....even Naruto him self. He suffered so much without his father and now he barely has time for his kids, his son is begging for attention and all he gets from his father is a spank on the head and words of "you have to endure because you are shinobi" and "give me a break Bolt!" - that's.....just not okay. In real world it may look like this - with children having to endure and with parents not having enough time....but since this is fiction, we all wanted to see that there's still hope to preserve your spark even when you are an adult. Naruto didn't manage to keep that spark. Instead of giving his son loads of love on those panels, we've seen him spanking him and being angry. I know he loves Bolt off-panel.....but I'll repeat again - after 15 years, these are the LAST pages and panels the characters will get in "Naruto".....and 700 didn't do them much justice.

Hinata is surely an amazing housewife and there's nothing wrong for her to be one....but again.... The Hyuuga side-story was so interesting and intense (before Kishimoto didn't forget about it totally for 500 chapters.....)... Hinata strived to get acknowledged by her father and her clan but in the end we only see that all she seemed to care about was just "being with Naruto".... it made her look cookie-cutter, even though I wanted to see her in-depth. There was so much potential in Hinata.....but in the end all she cared for was Naruto, as if there didn't exist anything else in the world. Everyone seemed to have a dream of sort in the first volumes, the characters SHINED, they had depth.....so the last chapter killed it all off and has shown that once they became adult, life is all about being bored/being annoyed with children and jobs/getting married and procreate/giving up their dreams/losing spark....... To me it was dissapointing end to a shonen manga, that is supposed to give HOPE to children. Ending it in such a dull realistic manner is upsetting.

I hope you see my point.... without getting angry
Also, I hope your life from now on will be filled only with good health and healthy happy children.

Oh I completely agree there, I thought it was quite strange how they just all randomly settled down the way they did.  I'd have loved to see more of their goals and dreams being fulfilled, and I'm with you 100% on Sakura.  I was just so disappointed to see her revert to what she was instead of fully transforming into who she could've been.  Child bearing is a wonderful thing, but so is being who you want to be~ Hinata's basically the only one I can see being truly happy with being a house wife, even if she did clan duties on the side I still see her as wanting a humbler life and being more of a support to Naruto~ Sakura I fully expected to be this strong woman in the end, Ino I expected to be in interrogation, Tenten is basically the ONLY one who did something with her life that seemed to suit her by opening a weapons shop.  The characters deserve more respect than they got and while it satisfied the more starving fans of those pairings, the ones with any respect for the individual characters themselves regardless of their pairing preferences are left in frustration. (I also completely agree with you on Temari and Shikamaru, I knew they were SO a thing but to actually see them settle down...I  mean, I can see Shikamaru giving in of course, but Temari of all people settling?  That's quite surprising...unless she threatened Shikamaru into doing it...then the idea of them being married would make perfect sense, if we could JUST see them being in character at least!  Though the idea of them just maintaining a casual relationship seems to suit them most, as you say...)
Naruto was definitely not what I expected him to be.  He wasn't bad by all means, but he just kind of seemed...lacking.  Like literally ANYONE could've been in Naruto's position in that last chapter and we wouldn't notice a difference.  Of course I expected Naruto to grow up a bit and be the strong and wise leader he was meant to be like his father, but he seemed so 1 dimensional...it was very disappointing.  Also I agree, Naruto knows what it's like to not have anyone to pay attention to him and while I completely understand the responsibilities of following his dreams he has GOT to make some adequate time for his son!  It was peace time for goodness sake, you can't tell me he couldn't get out of work for a day every now and then for his family!  All in all, I completely agree with you, chapter 700 could've been so much more and it just wasn't...

I would have LOVED to have seen more of the Hyuuga side story, Hinata surely could've pulled off both being a clan leader AND a housewife and mother~ Hinata wanted to prove herself and while she certainly has to US as the readers (I'd like to think), we don't see any response from her family other than Neji before he died and it just takes away from what her whole character has been about~  In the end you're absolutely right, the last chapter was dull and, well, realistic but it didn't have to end in such a way.  The whole damn manga was just progression for the very real possibility of everyone or at least most of them obtaining their goals and instead it's like they all just gave up and said "Hey, let's just get married and make babies"...

I see your point and I'm pretty sure we're both on the same page~ I could never get angry, as long as the response is at least polite that alone makes me happy and what to be just as nice back~ In fact, I was worried I'd upset you with my butting in with my opinion to begin with!  So I'm very relieved we had a nice discussion like this~

And thank you so much, I certainly hope so!

I absolutely agree....
In a German board I did argue with some others about it pretty badly... they were like: hey, becoming a housewife is something desirable... and if things don't go as planned you still get lots of money from the guy...
A totally worldly innocent point of view... -.-
