Possible headcanon - Sasuke will never return to the village and travels instead with team Hawk
Karin is crazy and awesome enough to forgive him I bet... (although Sasuke had been jerkbending her all this time, it's horrible). The Uchiha estate won't be rebuilt. But we'll see

it wouldnt be so easy to return tio konoha, even if sasuke resuts to be the hero and defeats both obito and madara many countrys would hold a grudge against him for what he did in the kage summit or the reikage
but even if the countrys forgive him, the must dangerous peopele for sasuke would be the elders, they wouldnt want sasuke to tell the truth abou the uchiha masacre amd also would feel their lives in danger if sasuke would return to the village knowing this, returning to konoha wouldnt be a walk in the park for sasuke, so he couold eitehr way make his live in other place or maybe get rid of the elders without killing them but at least removing them from thir status

Theres another reason to for this. I always thought that Kishmoto -sensei would make Sasuke and Naruto switch places so to speak. Basicaly Sasuke who had all the girls and popularity and respect of the village, will be reduced to where naruto was at the beginning of the series.
Naruto will have earned all the respect, gotten the girl, and be the popular one. Sasuke will have to rebuild all that respect and trust he threw away and even have to rebuild the relationship he had with Karin.
A lot of the story to this date seems to me to be pushing in this direction towards this resolution. A full coming full circle between the two.

He's viewed as a traitor, he hates Konoha, the whole estate is in ruins.... and Itachi's wish was, that the view of the Konoha on the Uchiha clan won't change...so I thought there's really a slim chance of him to return. He's not really welcomed there and I think he also has had enough of Uchiha history :/ (who knows what will happen after the latest chapter, after all the juicy details will be revieled)
