yeah, I got a hold of a beta handbook for 4e and was like, this looks cool, this was before I've played any D&D what so ever. Then a couple years later I started playing 3.5, and died... a lot. We switched to 4e while I was in college, and every body noticed that my character, and Orange Boy's character wasn't dying (Orange Boy died more than me). 4e is so nerfed I have no idea how veteran players could stand it. we played 4e for all of 3 months before picking the campaign back in in 3.5.

I said it once and I'll say it again. If I have to go out of my way to die a horrible death, there's no point in playing. At least in 3.5 I didn't have to try and die.
