Whew! Got this up in time for your birthday, Gabi!

I've been wanting to draw other people's EEnE OCs for a while now, and of all the ones I'm aware of, Adele is one of my favorites. She's cute, she's a great, fully fleshed out character, and I can relate to her (and her artist) in a number of ways. For my first time drawing her, I'm really impressed with myself! And of course, I chose to represent her through the common jigsaw puzzle Autism Awareness motif.

During the course of creating this, I started wondering what Adele and North's relationship would be like. I feel like they would get along very well, as both seem very friendly and accepting of others, and there are some similarities between Autism and ADHD. Both disorders cause Adele and North (respectively) to place intense focus on certain topics of interest and lose focus on other topics that disinterest them, and certain oddball behaviors that they exhibit set them apart from others, most predominantly impaired social skills. Solely based on general kindness, these two would get along great, but I honestly doubt they would hang out with each other beyond the school cafeteria, because they are otherwise quite different. Adele is reserved and compulsive. North is disorganized and impulsive. Adele likes classical music and cuteness. North likes monster makeup and horror. It only makes sense that Adele's half of the puzzle would be in perfect order while North is too busy daydreaming about Men in Black or something to do his job right. That doesn't mean she won't give him a hand, though!

Again, very happy with how this turned out.
