Description
Shortly after coming up with the idea for this comic I found the French dub of Troublemaker (the episode to which this comic alludes), where Adrien says "friend", instead of "fan" like in the English dub. Generally I take the French dub as canon over the English (or any other) when such discrepancies occur, as I'm pretty sure the French script is the original, but for this particular comic, "fan" made more sense.Related content

Yeah, I've watch the english dub first, then the french one (my mother language), and got the same feeling... "fan" makes so much more sense than "friend"...
Looks like a remake of "Marinette's just a good friend"...

When I said "fan" made more sense, I meant in context of this comic, not necessarily the episode. ^^"
Either way, I don't see it as a friendzone comment so much as an ''I like that you like me'' comment. More detailed explanation here.
