Here's another piece of work; three of my favourite portraits from the game I've been working on for the latest 3 months.From the top:
Prince Ehnydeel, son of the Dark Fae Queen.
Gardia, swamp-creature living in the former Ocean Empire.
Tayla, an unfortunate Sea-Fae female who had her ears cut off by humans.

it has been a while. i'm doing pretty good, bored out of my mind right now. i'm at college for Graphic Design, i hate mondays.
anyway how are things going with you? got anymore cool art on the way?

I hope I'll be able to post some more stuff I've done for the Furae. I've also got a new fic which should be posted in 1-2 days (depending on my beta-reader, she's just gonna make some final corrections) and with it comes a illustration. So there's some new stuff coming up.
I'm the middle of moving back to southern Sweden right now so there isn't much time left for painting. (In my free time, that is.)

what's the fic gonna be about?
i want to be a concept designer for Lucasarts, they do all the Star Wars stuff, so. maybe even movie/video game posters. something along those lines.

It's an Old Republic fanfic, about two of the characters from the series. It takes place between 17 and 18, and is about Jarael and Arkoh, while he keeps her hostage on the Arcanian Legacy. I was so found of Arkoh as a character - I think he'll even make a swift appearance in my follow-up story for Jedi Princess.
And getting under the skin on the bad guys is always fun - and a challenge, since the story isn't always told from their point of view.
Oh well, It's bedtime here, and I've got work tomorrow. (23:00 local time) Goodnight.

I am glad I can post some stuff from the Furiae; secrecy isn't that high on this project. I hope I'll be able to show you some more in time!

For a moment I thought the middle one was a Zabrak

Yes she looks a bit Zabrak-ish. I found a photo of a really cool lizard with horns on the back of its head, and used that as ref for the portrait.

Wow... Absolutely stunning... Naturally I fell in love with the dark elf/fey at first sight, (that tunic is worth killing for!) but I really like the other two designs, too, especially the swamp woman's hairstyle and horns. 
Brilliant portraits, must see more!

For Gardia's skin I used parts of s tut on how to make scales. Good one, that is. Very inspiring.
The tunic was actually a lot simpler to make than I had hoped! I only made a new layer with the designs, and then shaded them until it worked well with the rest of the shirt. Added *so* much to the overall-look of the portrait.

aww, it's not so fancy as the high-res portraits. ^^ If it was, I wouldn't post the original paintings. It's nice that secrecy is so light on this project though; I am allowed to post anything as long as I don't reveal some huge chunk of story/spoilers.
