Hi, yeah some might find this a bit disturbing, but...even Hawks have to eat. This Squirrel will provide the necessary food value for this Hawk to survive the cold winter.

I have like 10 or so Squirrels that come to my bird feeders. This Hawk would sit in a nearby tree and hunt the Squirrels that were eating the seeds that the birds would spill out onto the ground. It isn't very successful, but at least yesterday it connected and had a meal. They really don't have to eat that often so this one won't hunt for about 7 to 10 days.

I do like seeing them, and it's all part of natures plan...keeps the Squirrel population down.
