Hi, I took a few moments to go into the marsh this morning before going home and prepping for the BBQ. I knew this Mother Redwinged Blackbird had a nest close by in the reeds, so I set up and waited for her to return.It didn't take long, and she would always land on this Cattail stalk, before dropping into the reeds and going to her nest. What I did was centered the reed top in the view finder, set the tripod, pre-focused the camera, set it to high speed burst mode,and just waited till I saw her coming in. I shot this pic just as she was landing on the stalk... of the 4 images,I liked this the best. the whole outing was over in about 30 minutes...then I had to leave.
