Hi, While out this afternoon, I came across this Female Praying Mantis. She is definitely full of eggs, for next years generation of Mantises. It's neat how she is a drab brownish color while the Male is mostly a dark green.
She was hanging out in a clump of really tall grasses. I like how I was able to capture her image with only the sky as the background.
