Description Took this one yesterday during a snow storm we had. I have been dealing with snow and rain for the past few days. So I set up my camera in the kitchen and shot this one through the sliding glass doors. It's on my deck on a branch that I put up so they have a place to land and wait for a turn at the feeders.

you know it's snowing again today...makes for 3 weekends in a row we've had a snow storm...don't know when I'll get out and shoot some pics in "real daylight".... : lmao:

It has done the same thing here. Today it is sunny I think I might go out today and see what I can find. I also heard of a ice-sculpture show today not far from me so I might go check that out and see what kind of ice-sculptures are being created.

I'm going to use your idea and set up some poles with holes drilled in to position my "branches" for better shots of the spookier visitors to my feeders.

that should work and you can get those really neat looking branches , without those darn little one in the way that always seem to be right in front of the eye or other annoying position good luck.
