While out for a bit this afternoon, I saw this Coyote as it walk by the trail leading from the old sandpit I was in shooting bird pics. It didn't stay very long and I only got 3 pics of it. This is the clearest, as the others had branches and stuff in the way.I love it when you get pics like this.... go out looking for birds and come back with a Bonus Coyote shot!

Hi Renard, yeah I think it saw me first, when I spotted it, it was looking in my direction as it came onto the path.They are pretty wary animals and not much gets by them unnoticed.

Hi, we have a couple of red colored coyotes living in my area. This one is probably an offspring of the one I saw about 5 years ago not far from here. Most of my Coyotes are the normal browner coloration, but this one is as I saw it in good sunlight. I think it looks cool compared to the normal color!

Hi Tony, Yeah either that or Rabbits... lots of them living in the overgrown sandpit brush. I think I just happened to interrupt it's afternoon hunt.

Yeah it was cool seeing this one today. It came out onto the path from the brush on the right and when it took off, it went left.. so I only got 3 pics. If I hadn't been looking in that direction.. never would have known it was there!
