Description Hi, I got this pic today, plus a few others of this Chickadee doing some nest hole work. It was coming and going with bits of wood chips from the renovations inside the hole. I'm posting 2 of them.

notice at the upper base of the beak...those little brown things, they are Ticks! they won't cause the bird any harm, but I wish I could take them off of it!

Wow, excellent shot. Love the composition, shallow depth of field and angle

I love that Canon camera you have and that lens if I have it right can cost over 6 grand, but any of them are in the thousands.

Hi Dennis, well the camera body was bought new, and the lens was a used one---cost me only $3000.00 vs $5950.00.
look into used equipment, from a camera store so you can get good advice and look that item over carefully!

Just remember..you don't need "high End" stuff to shoot great pics! that comes later on down the road after saving for years!I started with a point an shoot Minolta..worked up to a cannon rebel, then to the 7D....all over the period of 6 years.

You're 100% right on target. I would never pay $6 grand for a lens when you can find a barely used, perfect shape one for half the cash. Even that body is over a grand though, so it's an expensive deal but usually you can sure tell a really good lens if the photographer is good like you are.
thanks for some good comments and wonderful images.
