My boyfriend Jake and I headed up to Seattle this weekend for the System of a Down Concert at the Key Arena. I've always loved Seattle, especially the Pike Place Market and all the old antique stores. But the biggest draw for me is the Woodland Park Zoo, one of the best AZA-accredite zoos in the country. They've been successful at breeding snow leopards, ocelots, and many other fantastic animals for the Species Survival Plan, and was one of the first zoos in the country to model their exhibits after animals' actual natural habitats.

I usually meet up with a friend of mine when I visit here. She's a photographer and wildlife fanatic whose been attending the zoo on a weekly basis since before I was born. Victoria knows the names of nearly all the animals, and many of them recognize her as if she were a friend.

Victoria's favorite animals are the jaguars, Junior and Nyala.
