you know i wonder is the magnet in control of the crusher to? are they one in the same or are they not. the crusher has no eyes really unlike the other things in the movie. i would have done it another way. they some how knock the magnet lose and falls on theΒ belt leaning to the crusher. the magnet is to big so it brakes the mouth of the crusher and it all falls in on its self. and all the cars around cheer and they get master away before all this.Β they do it by fooling the magnet in to thinking he had them or something.Β

I've always thought that this movie was kind of dark at times, but this portion was very dark, and gruesome in a way. The toaster and his buddies have to run and hide to avoid the magnet while watching helplessly as dozens of singing cars get smashed to bits which fly everywhere. Dark, gruesome, mildly disturbing and slightly horrifying. I love it! Good job on this, it really makes the Electromagnet seem like the Reaper.

I really like how you gave the magnet no pupils thus making it look even scarier and even more heartless.
It really was a death machine, and this just emphasizes even more how it didn't care in the slightest about the lives it was crushing.

What I thought made this scene creepy was that complete sense of despair, and a sort of "on death row" feeling. The magnet looms over them like the shadow of Death itself, ready to take any one of them at any moment to a painful execution from a compactor that resembles a giant mouth.

Nothing scared me in this film. Not the Peter Lorre lamp, not the nightmare sequence BUT THIS DANG SCENE. This scene really got me, especially when the one car basically commits suicide!

I don't know if this would be considered funny or not but as a kid I always thought the Magnet was a girl. It was something about the noes and in certain frames the eyes I think. This however is awesome and terrifying both at the same time ^^ Very well done.

Well, I thought the toaster was actually the girl (the spanish voice is surely made by a girl). However, I only saw that magnet as a scary thing that lurked in a creepy scrapyard. Not a girl, not a guy. Just Satan.
