I think it's a pretty neat idea, and most importantly its well composed too (it's otherwise a let down when I see clever, original photomanip concepts done with poor quality photo's or lazy composition on the artists behalf) But this is very good in both concept and technical skill, the jar could even be a representative of Earth's fragility or even a symbol for global warning, with space travel being the only way out

Thanks! Yeah, all photoshop. The only photo is the cork and some textures and so forth. Will most likely get some more 3D into my work here soon.

I have to say that this is one of those ideas that makes me grin instantly! I love the execution, which should be no surprise based on your gallery, but the idea is what really gets me. It's fun!
What is that under the moon, though? Are those cities? I think I see some buildings, but the swirly elements throw me off a little.

Hey, thanks! I appreciate all the kind words...it is actually a little city under there, you're right. The swirly things are freeways. Originally I had a great big sprawling city but once it shrunk down it looked like a dead planet which was sort of a downer...so I scrapped it.

the composition and execution is just ingeniously
i love the entire idea
the glass around the earth could also be interpreted as ozone-layer
with the ozone hole, which is great
great light from the sun-bulb
the starting spaceship and the orbit,
so lovely details that you brought in,
just perfect!
