Description
It's been a while since I've tried creating a fictional firearm, and I wanted some reference to use in Blender. So, I had the idea of a high-caliber pistol inspired by hunting pistols and, oddly enough, the FG42. I like how it turned out, but it's probably not the most realistic. Halfway through drawing, I forgot to draw the charging handle, so that doesn't exist anymore. Also, the ejection port is also missing, which is fun :' )
There's also a bit of lore with this one which i will include:
During the opening weeks of the outbreak, troops found their current sidearms to be ineffective against infected individuals. Shortly after, a hasty request was made for a sidearm with the criteria of a high-caliber cartridge with enough stopping power to quickly stop infected in their tracks while also having a high capacity. However, due to a hasty design and quick construction of these firearms, it had a reputation for misfires and chamber failures among troops who were able to obtain one before production was ceased due to the weapon's shortcomings in the field shortly after. Now, years later it's been reduced to just a collector's item.
