Basically, the goal was to see if I could draw a semi-complex, 3Dish character (designed by someone who was not me) on-model. I succeeded better than I expected.

For the record: All drawn today, September 24, 2011. Two are copied from screenshots from The Lion King, one is copied from a screenshot from Timon & Pumbaa (but the show simplified the character design a bit and I added some of the excised details back in), one is not based on any particular image but I looked at several for reference, and one I drew from memory.
