I showed MLP to my mom, who doesn't speak a single word english, and showed her the synchronization difference from english to german, and she couldn't understand why the german voices are so bad... XD
It made me proud of my mom even more x3

Series 1-4 (from the new series, which is probably the best point to start watching) is 47 Euro on Amazon UK (+ a little fee for shipping, but pretty low usually). Buying all 4 seasons singularly in germany (with german translation) is 117 Euro - the same Box-Set already imported from the UK is still 69 Euro... You'll never pay 22 Euro for shipping from UK for this box, and you can use your german amazon account on amazon UK too.
I won't spoil anything, but when married couples use "Sie" in the german translation... you know you're in for a baaad translation...

Average Dr. Who story, is there another one?

Well some people have the humanoid doctor transported into pony universe and turned in to a pony, some have that he is and always has been a time-pony, born on gallopfrey etc. Some have that he's just a regular earth pony, or "the doctor" but 'pocket-watched', and so is in his 'John Smith' form as 'Time Turner'.
We've also seen (as evidenced by River Song), that time lords can regenerate into children, In fact 'our' doctor has been getter younger and younger (almost consistently) with each regeneration.
Lots of people have lots of different 'head-canon' though. I quite like the idea that he's been pocket-watched myself, it would explain the 'generic' pony name of Time Turner as his alter ego too

Well... it's different with River. She regenerated to a kid, but she was already a kid when she regenerated, so you could argue that a Timelord grows up at a normal/human speed until adulthood - no matter if he/she regenerates during that time. It also could be her human part that let her grow up "normally". However, we haven't seen an adult Timelord regenerating back into a child. Would be interesting though ^^
But yeah, headcanon. Could be an age spell too, we know they exist in MLP x3

In my personal HC - it's Derpy helping him to deal with regular pony life, since he's new to equestrian customs, and everybody else just thinks he's weird cause he doesnt know how to pick up stuff with his hooves. So I have him and Derpy working together, I think she knows something of his past - as in he wasnt born a pony, but doesnt know anything else to help him that way, so she just helps him as best as she can
