I'm not the best at pokemon but I found them to be a pretty decent phyiscal tank so I could heal other pokemon or tank big attacks ^v^

I can't help but wonder if the pie part on Appletun's back can be eaten without causing lasting harm to the Appletun themself. Like those lizards that can lose a tail or a limb and then regrow it.
