Hoooooooooooooo boy am I glad this page is done! You all have no idea how sick I am of looking at it!So about this page. Like I mentioned before, shortly after I got Lyn in game, I started to feel REALLY guilty about breaking the Nuzlocke Rules. But I was already SUPER attached to Lyn and didn't want to just box her either. So there was a bit of an internal conflict, and I kinda wanted to show that in the comic. It also serves a a nice way of introducing the One catch rule into the story.
I kinda have some mixed feelings about this page. On the one hand, I kinda hate all the emo negativity in the first half of the page. But I love how much subtle foreshadowing I was able to put into this part. It was not fun to write the dialogue for the beginning, and it also made me feel a bit depressed myself to write it. But this is probably a very accurate representation of me, in the sense that when I get depressed, I don't really listen to reason. (And it gets really bad whenever it relates to my own stupidity.) But whenever anyone else is feeling down, I go out of my way to make them feel better! So it kinda served as a brutally honest look at myself, and I actually learned a lot from it!
I also really liked Lyn's little speech! It's so blunt and too the point, which is what I love about her!
AND LOOK! I CAUGHT A POKE! Yeah, congrats to everyone who guessed I was gonna catch the Rattata from earlier! I'm so happy I'm finally able to introduce a new character! Hope you all grow to love Niki as much as I do!
I also apologize that the backgrounds keep changing from gradients to actual backgrounds. I was doing a bit of experimenting.
I also just realized that my trees look entirely diffrent from my last page! lol! What even is consistency? I don't even!
Well I have no idea when the next page is coming out, but I'll try to make it quick!

That dialogue between the trainer and Lyn!! *-* So much feels! (Just because there are some sadness in a story doesn't mean it's "emo", don't worry!^^)

I really like that panel with Lyn pointing towards the reader (well, not really but you know what I mean). Great job on making her claw actually looking like it's pointing towards us.
