NUUUU D: I just looked at the reference picture again, and noticed that her eyes are actually gold, not purple ;A; sorry! I thought they were like the same color as the flowers skjdhfklhkjd OTL
Well, anyways, other than that I kind of like the way this picture came out~ I tried a different sort of pose with it too xD;; I think the anatomy is off, but I hope you like it anyways! :'D

Well xD
Umm I start by filling that part of the lineart with the base color. Then I add a slightly darker color on top for shading/shadows (a separate marker), then an even darker color for even darker shadows (yet another different marker). Then I go back with the base color and color over the parts where different colors meet to blend it.
It requires lots of markers :U I have around 50 of them by now I think
Aaannddd then for things that are really shiny, I add hilights with gel pens C:

yes, but my fear is that it bleeds through XD Makes the paper soft and mushy and bleh...

Well I use wet media/watercolor paper when using markers C:
Cardstock is also good, and it's cheaper than watercolor paper. When I'm drawing it on another thing though, and I don't want it to bleed through, I just put this laminated picture between the drawing and what's underneath it.
