Description Peace be to you my friends,

here is a muslim family having their Iftaar meal during the month of ramadan. so many muslims like to have dates and milk in their meal after a day of fasting.
I admit that perspective views are harder to draw. but I like to draw them. they are very cool.

for my brothers and sisters in Islam,
I hope you are doing well in this holy month of Ramadan. try to take this opportunity to do more good deeds and get more hasanaat, in sha'Allah.

for those who don't understand,
Ramadan is the 9th month of the Islamic lunar calendar. It is the Islamic month of fasting, in which Muslims refrain from eating, drinking and sexual activities from dawn until sunset. Fasting is intended to teach Muslims about patience, humility and spirituality and is a time for Muslims to fast for the sake of God and to offer more prayer than usual. During Ramadan, Muslims ask forgiveness for their sins, pray for guidance and help in refraining from everyday evils, and try to purify themselves through self-restraint and good deeds.

Iftaar is the sunset meal for the fasting muslims. all the family members have a warm and happy meal together.

Remarks:
a- the muslim woman doesn't have to wear the veil at home in front of her husband and kids.
b- the father is not taking the spoon in a wrong way. he is just playing with it while waiting his second bowl.
c- I know the floor didn't come out very well. but I felt lazy to redo it.

I hope you like it

peace be to you.

Very Cute drawing of a family eating Iftar. Everything is really awesome. The perspective, the shading, and all the different expressions on all the family members.

What I find really awesome is that flaming moon on the TV set. Very creative way to put yourself in the artwork.

Just looking at all the detail one can see this must have taken a long time to make. Must have taken a lot of time to draw / color all the different foods, and all the text on the bottles and containers. By the way, all that food makes me hungry.

Good job as usual. Looks really awesome.

You know the good part when I open the Iftaar. After I ate a little, my stomach feels full already. It seems to be a good sign.

i like how they eat the right amount of food! not like some families i see in movies were they over fill the table with food and then half of it is left uneaten, i mean in Mohammed's days (pbah) they didn't have so much food but they were alot healthier than us!

This picture reminds me of my family back in my hometown...Funny thing is, during the month of Ramadan, I tend to seek out soy milk before I seek out the dates...

During Ramadan, I always crave chocolate milk for some reason--I never drink it any other time of the year. Weird what fasting does sometimes!

Wow the perspective and angle is amazing! The room and walls have an almost circular feel to it and it looks like we are almost looking down on them...this is such a sweet and warm family scene. There is so much attention to detail, all the dates, shading on bread and basket, great patterns, so many dishes and plates on the table and all their expressions are so realistic and happy...ah it's beautiful and makes me so happy seeing this! It truely is beautiful, gave me a wonderful feeling at seeing such a pleasant family scene and them all together celebrating the meal. Peace be upon you wonderful artist and living representation of God
