How did you let him out of the house to explore? Did you build a relationship first? How did you know he would come home? (I've never had a cat before.)

We kept him inside for the first two weeks or so, and then we let him out, taking a risk. But, so far, we've been lucky. I took this photo 18 months ago, and he has come back home ever since.

Yes they are independent, but when it rains heavily and a thunderstorm rolls through, one of my cats seeks comfort with me.

Thank you so much. He is our male cat among two females, and contrary to what the situation with humans may be, he is mentally totally well adjusted and the least aggressive of the three.

Thanks, Jocelyne. Of the three cats we have, he is the most amicable and easy-going character. I love him more every day. Only problem is, he is much harder to photograph than Gris-Gris or Romy...
