Monte Fitz Roy near the town of El Chaltén, Santa Cruz Province, ArgentinaThis was a magnificent day of mountain hiking, and, no, we didn't even try to climb up there. Chaltén, by the way, means "mountain that smokes", and the local indigenous Tehuelche called it that because this mountain is more often than not, hiding behind clouds.

If you like hot climates, then this isn't the place for you, but it's a sight to see and that I will never forget. In fact I would love to go back there soon and also visit other places in Argentina.
