Description This was one of the hardest drawing I did and not because it was difficult to draw but because I set the canvas seize to 5000 pixels. it would load on almost every line I did and I didn't set it to a smaller size either, and I don't know why I didn't. Only after I finished I set it to 1000 and here it is, I'm so gad this is done and over with.. Enjoy though !!

All nbrlan is, is a person who gets fame and credit from other people's hard work. This is truly disgusting and hypocritical due to that fact that she "Blows up art thieves" when she herself is nothing more but a thief.

The very first deviation that I found out was stolen nbrlan.deviantart.com/art/I-N-…  I noticed right away that it was very similar to the InoSaku "shelter" artwork by DYMx. dymx.deviantart.com/art/Shelte…  You'll notice that many of the commenters in there would agree with me.

One fact is that the thief's artwork was created a year AFTER the original artwork.
Screenshot proof here:
nbrlan (thief): fc05.deviantart.net/fs70/f/201…
DYMx (original): fc02.deviantart.net/fs71/f/201…

You can find the dates on the right side of both deviations.

Now here is some visible proof:

sta.sh/01ltki23jix5  I noticed that with the hands that a little detail like that is to similar.. They're drawn the same exact way and are in the same position.

Here is a layering: sta.sh/0568nzesym9  I hope it's easy to see. ^^" I didn't have the right photo editing tools for it on one site, so I had to use two.
The thief had to flip the image horizontally and then stretch it out about to try getting away with it.

Even if she did reference it, which I seriously doubt. This image has been mimicked angle for angle. She ignores to give credit. Even when the original artist commented on it, being nice enough to allow her to keep it up with credit at least. sta.sh/08qfevu088s (Click for full view, you can find this comment on the deviation page.) The thief just rudely ignored her, continuing to acknowledge the other commenters who say nice things and compliments like "nice work" and "great job". And for a year from 2012 to 2013 still has not given credit where it's due. She apparently 'blows up art thieves". Well I say she should blow up herself then.

This one deviation isn't the only proof of her thievery. Look closely at all her other deviations and you'll find that she doesn't even have her own style. All her work is just traces. Here are a few examples (found with the help of 'Last0Wish'):

"Example 1:  nbrlan.deviantart.com/art/Mea-…  (Overly and long huge eyes, full lips, round face, stubby hands and feet)
Example 2:  nbrlan.deviantart.com/art/A-P-…  (Square eyes, notice the nose is different from the first one, the way she draws the mouth here is also different)
Example 3:  nbrlan.deviantart.com/art/Shio…  (Completely different nose from the above 2 examples, rectangular eyes, different mouth as well)
Example 4:  nbrlan.deviantart.com/art/L-O-…  (Again a different nose, I would say this is a fourth style of drawing nose, different eyes and mouth)
Example 5: nbrlan.deviantart.com/art/BMD-…  (Take a close look. The way she drew Deidara is different from the way she drew Sasori. Clearly she drew deidara herself and traced Sasori off a manga panel. The body proportions are all different. Deidara has shoulders way too wide and his head is small, while Sasori's body proportions are on point.)"

Please go to the page of her stolen art and report her, it's only a few clicks away. (:

Ooookay, just letting you know this may be a liiiittle too late e___e;;

This person's journal obviously stated that she moved accounts two years ago. Now, why have you decided to take the precious time out of your life to try and convince people to report a person who already moved away from this account and probably this fandom? Now, if you give me some recent proof, like, maybe on her new account, then I'd be more than happy to take her down.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

YaoiFangurlXD In reply to TobesterOven [2014-07-31 08:13:36 +0000 UTC]

I actually wasn't aware of her moving before, but I wont say I'm wrong to post this and will not be taking it back.
Even if she moved, it's no excuse to keep other people's art up. Even the original artist of the first photo I showed you dislikes it being up. I would feel the same, time changes nothing and neither DeviantArt's rules for stealing. Her account is still bad for keeping all this up, don't make excuses for it.

It's also not just about reporting, she does not give credit where it belongs. So do you think it's right for the people who actually still go here to view her pictures and continue to think it's actually her hard work? When people go commenting onto her new account they'll continue to think she's the great artist she pretended to be. I am bringing awareness to people as well.

the coloring, I feel like you might try making the shading a bit sharper, maybe taking a more drastic approach with the angle of the light... I know you're aiming for an angelic appearance with light coming in from all sides, but to be honest, that lighting style would actually lead to very defined layered shadows pointing in many directions... an example... have you ever stood on a stage with different colored lights such as for a school play? You should notice that because of the surround lighting from the front and the back, you cast several shadows, and you can even tell which color of light the shadow is cutting out based on the colors that show underneath. Well think of Deidara's nose as being the person on the stage, maybe his bangs are a set piece, both will cast a considerable shadow. One of my better shading examples (should help a little because I have bangs like Deidara in this picture

Notice how the side of my face covered by my hair is cast in shadow? This doesn't mean it's totally darkened out, but there is a noticeable difference, Also shadows tend to show more depth around the eyes and brows. Of course this style is significantly more hard-edged than yours...

A more recent example [link] shows a little better how shadows can give dimension to facial features such as the cheeks, chin, brows and nose. Play around with it a little maybe? Just a suggestion... I love your style either way ;D
