While scrolling through YouTube I came across a video where Carl Sagan was discussing possible life on gas giants like Jupiter. These creatures included the gigantic balloon-like Floaters which, as the name implies, float about the atmosphere, and the Flyers, predatory bird-like creatures.
So I decided to do my take on them. Here we see the titular Floaters and Flyers. The Floaters float about the calmer upper atmosphere of their planet and feed on microscopic creatures that float in the air. These titans reproduce by budding, their young staying near their parent as they drift through the air wherever the winds take them. The Flyers, unlike the Floaters, can move by their own power. These creatures tend to travel in pairs and feed on young Floaters, puncturing their thin gasfilled bladder that keeps them aloft with the sharp needle like protrusions of their heads and making multiple flybys to suck out the gelatinous insides as their helpless prey fall into the turbulent lower atmosphere to be torn apart.
