You know, while I do think the YOG is a great event to showcase the sporting spirit of the youth, it seems like the Singapore government and it's critics are trying to turn it into a political circus sideshow here...

Oh, and I just decided to be curious and went in to read a bit more of the articles on Temasek Review; the content I saw made me facepalm and rage so much I had to close and block the site to prevent further rage, lest I break my monitor or worse, go insane.

Really, I sometimes find the dissents in Singapore to be purveyors of irony; you don't respond to bias with more bias, people, even if it's from a different side (and this is just one out of the infinite things I can say about them).

I totally suport sport events, specially for young people. But from what I reade abut YOG are just terrible things from the goverment doings. Like forcing students to participate, and poor alimentation to the works who participate in making the event, and much worst. That just to have some publicity, what they completely failed. That you cant accept.
