This was one of my first InuYasha sketches. I went back a airbrushed a while after it was drawn. I'm convinced that to know a character and create decent fanart, you must be able to sketch the character in all forms- no matter which style you prefer. Manga vs. anime, hanyou vs. youkai vs. human. Try to practice them all before you commit yourself to original art. I follow the writer's motto of "You must know the rules before you can break them."
