Description This is the cleaner version of it. But I feel it's missing something. But both are cool for my entry. I leave it up to the guys at to take which ever one they like. Not much difference.

Here is the oner version:

Okay! Since I read you also look for critiques.

First I really like the crows as an element of design and how they fit into the composition, very nice to give depth.

What troubles me most is the color palette, how you define light and shadow. I'm no expert about this and light is really complex. First Itachi skin local value is shifted towards yellow-orange, and that type of color that you have chosen as the base value doesn't look very healthy xD. And I don't know if you can actually achieve that value under skin midtones, thinking that skin color comes from blood mostly and melanin, which are red and browns. That type of hue could be found in light areas under warm light maybe, but I'm not so sure for midtones and shadows (shadows look like desaturated yellow-oranges and some reds as fill bounce light, but shadows should be desaturated red/purples due to how many red surrounds Itachi, and the local value should be desaturated reds or oranges).

In other areas happens the same, you have a local value, and the you use a very large amount of white and blacks for light and shadow (I understand that you are making Susano's body very reflective, metal like, be careful with that because it seems easy to fake those kind of surfaces, but they are really hard to actually make believable!) but you aren't going to have so many speculars and so big! Unless the light source is huge or there's a lot of white walls around and very near to the light source (which should be, very intense in that case XD). I'm sorry that I can't really give you actual solutions because I haven't got them myself, only thing I can advice is that you do some still-lifes from time to time although you might be doing them already (if you haven't done any yet, be careful, they are boring! XD). Training a little bit of realism helps with imagination and anything related with color design.

Another thing that bothered me, are Itachi's hands, really big and bulky in relation with how you have defined the face. Although having always in mind that real anatomy proportion is not perfect, those hands look weird for that face, smaller hands would have fit better for how you have designed Itachi's body proportion and face.

Hope it helps!

Yeah his left hand has been bugging me since I submitted it lol
Thanks for the critique.
Yeah I've done still life and life drawing all through HS and college. I don't find them that boring. Many times I feel its cheating when it comes to imaginary subjects lol silly I know. I usually don't use any real reference in my drawing except when I am having serious trouble with something or to get a general idea of where I want to go.
