Description This was a sketch I had done before my painting class. I've always been into Chambara (Samurai) flicks, spaghetti westerns, kung fu, and basic action exploitation films. Especially from the 70s Grindhouse era. I'm thinking it might be fun to draw a series of mock grindhouse movie posters that tap into the cheese of all the great genre flicks.

I really enjoy the movement in this sketch. I need to work on movement much, much more in my art work. Now that I'm in art school I need to polish my skills, and your gallery has inspired me to work that much harder to improve. I always enjoy talented artists!
I immensely enjoy your style. They way you capture the different cultural styles so that they complement each other. I admit that I, too, enjoy a ridiculous Chambara flick every now and then (especially if it has Sonny Chiba somewhere in it) I would like to see this grindhouse poster series.

i've always enjoyed this combination cause it reminds me of the clash between two countries and how there were a lot of talk between the two but it shows that two of differnt nature can join.

great way of drawing it also very beautiful work
